Pohlad Family Giving Foundation
On April 16, 2009 the foundation announced they will be donating to Dayton's Bluff NHS $1,000,000 in grant money for assistance to home buyers purchasing homes in the 55106 zip code area.  Up to $8,000 will be provided in the form a mortgage to each eligible household.  The funds can go towards down payment/closing costs fees or equity contribution.  Buyers have to occupy the home as their primary residence for seven years before the mortgage is forgiven.
